FoodTrip: Tasting Jerusalem

A collaboration between the Jerusalem Season of Culture festival and chef Assaf Granit of the renowned Machneyuda restaurant, the truck traveled for four weeks through the Holy City, parking in a new location each day. Fans and hungry passersby got a chance to try fresh, local, kosher and halal offerings. And many different local personalities—including chefs, celebrities, athletes, and influential Jerusalemites—stopped by to eat and to chat, and to try to identify the quintessential Jerusalem dish.
This book, the final stop on the FoodTrip journey, immortalizes the flavors, the recipes, the people and the challenges that are unique to Jerusalem.
